Name: Airen Wainsborough
Type: Human
Appearance:
Lanky male, age 15 of average height and average complexion. His hair,
originally blond, was dyed rather poorly to a dark black. After a few
washes the dye had already begun to come out, leaving his hair an
awkward mix of yellow roots and black tips. He usually wears a hat,
varying per day, to cover up his exposed blond roots. Crystal blue eyes
usually seen behind a set of shades. Despite his university standings,
he is never seen wearing the uniform, emblem, or even the school colors.
Personality:
The word rebel is usually the first to pop up upon first glance. He's
loud, and rude despite not having a strand of arrogance in his being.
Some might even say he has something against the world. And yet now his
personality had changed drastically from that. His entire form exudes
exhaustion and his outspokenness had completely vanished along with his
critical nature. Usually he's zoning off, his attention span next to
zero and wears upon his face a look of absolute boredom. Occasionally he
would revert violently back to his old ways pushed to an extreme before
practically disappearing from the world for a day or to only to
reemerge the sleepy boy he's known to be.
Background:
Airen was born gifted and talented and soon was classified as a child
prodigy. He was home schooled for a majority of his life until his
parents had finally placed him in college at the age of 14. A shame
really because Airen was more obsessed with popularity and socializing
than with knowledge. And yet because of his unusual IQ and achievements
in education, he had earned the jealousy of many of his peers, ousted by
those his age, and the only praise he got was from the teachers of
which he had no interest in to begin with. His growing interest in the
paranormal, especially spirits, only served to isolate him from those he
wanted to befriend.
It was sometime after he turned 15 that he
was found unconscious on the streets after his parents had declared him
missing. It would be nearly three months before he awoke again and when
he did he took on the sleepy exterior that he is now known for.
Greater Spirit:
An endless city populated by thousands of people his own age. Upon
closer look, it would almost seem like every one of them is him, varying
in age, in height and weight and dressed in varying outfits. However
the center of the city has been wiped out, expanding into a complete
circle of barren land, scarred and burned as if an explosion had just
occurred. The sky is a perfect blue and yet turns into a deep purple and
eventual crimson as it nears the center where the 'sun' towers at the
zenith. The people wander around it as if it were part of their daily
lives. When possessed, a giant and ancient leafless tree sprouts from
the center of barren land, stretching up to the sky only to be scorched
as it nears the sun and stops growing altogether.
Consciousness:
Himself down to the very last aspect. After all, the flaw he sees is in
society, not himself. He's usually dressed in the very same outfit he's
usually wearing that day. However since his personality shift his being
appears as a shattered person. Airen doesn't seem to notice the change
himself. His consciousness is usually lingering around the barren land
and the ancient tree. He has never set foot inside the cityside.
Possession Abilities:
His ability as a spirited human is simply the ability to see the other
spirits as well as the angels and demons (which stemmed his interest in
the paranormal that no one else believed). As a possessed, Airen is an
'incomplete being' and because of that, his spirit is highly unstable,
constantly searching to fill the void of his being. In that sense, he
has the ability to mirror the ability of another spirited human. His
consciousness replaces his shattered parts with aspects of the spirited
human's consciousness. However, he can only mirror the power if his
spirit is inside the spirited human's Greater Spirit and he makes
contact with them. He can only maintain the power for a short amount of
time and the time he spends away from his own Greater Spirit is short.
