Name: Luke Adele
Age – 32
Gender – Male
RaceMyr - Common
Alignment - Hagar

Appearance:
A tall male, thin and lanky by all dimensions, but none can outwardly call him starved. He is, after all, well fed, pampered and kept. But likewise, his body lacks any real muscle developed by physical labor. His dress is quite formal and rarely can one find him without his white coat decorated with the insignia of a crimson tulip. His hair is hazel and his eyes a bright amber color, often times seated behind a set of glasses pushed against the bridge of his nose. His face is clean shaven and adept at smiling though his eyes make the experience rather uncomfortable.

Personality:
Luke could be considered friendly, especially with the constant grin he seems to hold upon his face. Like his dress, he is formal in speech and in manner and this becomes even more apparent around women. He enjoys word battles far more than actually swordplay and never passes up an opportunity to drop a subtle but often times insulting comment. A man of words, Luke would prefer to flee than fight nor does he have any shame in retreat. He is very proficient in giving excuses and, considering his position in Hagar military, can often get away with it.

History:
When Luke emerged into the scientific community, no one had heard of the family of Adele. Many people had speculated that Luke Adele is not the myr's full name but rather a pseudonym adopted with the rising of his career. But that hardly mattered in the end. After all, what was stunning the most about Luke was his intellect. He was fascinated by flight since a child and when he was seventeen, designed a working model of his own airship, albeit the model was scraped later and never made full scale. He was asked to join the Hagar Research Department at the age of twenty. Luke speaks very highly of Viviane Heravera, designer of Hagar Airships, and looks up to her though rumors have it that he had proclaimed her his unofficial rival. He has yet to steal the spotlight away from her.

Being one of the few myrs actually living inside the polluted city of Hagar, Luke's disposition was always quite weak. Thus his life style is quite comfortable. He lives in a estate and has his own maids and servants. The air he breathes is filtered, the water he drinks purified, the food he eats specially prepared. This is all in an attempt to keep his health up inside the machine city of Hagar. Strangely, whenever Luke does venture outside, his trips are never short. He is often distracted by the poor functioning of nearby machines, always stopping to either chastise a nearby engineer or complain loudly to anyone nearby before repairing the machine (if possible) in a needlessly dramatic fashion.

Weapons:
Throwing Knives – Simple throwing knives engraved with a rune with draws magic towards them. These knives aren't meant to do damage as they are more primarily used to, say, direct bolts of lightning towards the knife. The knife does not carry any magical properties of its own. It acts mainly as a lightning rod for any lightning spells that Luke uses. The stronger the spell is, the harder it is for Luke's magic to target just the knife, often times leading it to target a nearby tree or some other tall object. Once the knives have been thrown, Luke's lightning will target only the knives. He may throw multiple and change the lightning's target from knife to knife (harder to control depending on how strong the spell is).

Abilities:
Will of Thor – While he does have some knowledge of other magicks, lightning magic is perhaps one of Luke's finest skills. By tracing rune words in the air with energy, signified by a glowing purple aura, he can conjure your generic bolt of lightning to a raw blast of energy able to cleave trees in two. The stronger the skill the more concentration is needed. Cast time for a weak spell (Temporary Paralysis for 1-5 seconds, Slight pain) is generally 1 second, a medium spell (Temporary Paralysis for ten seconds, Acute pain, disorientation) five seconds, and a strong spell (Temporary Paralysis up to twenty seconds, Acute Pain, disorientation, loss of movement in limb[s]) up to ten seconds, in which case interruption during any point of time during his casting will cancel the spell and Luke will have to start again. Luke can generally conjure a weak spell easily indoors, medium ones have a 50% chance of working indoors, and strong ones can only be used outside. Luke can walk around, with reduced maneuverability, while casting a spell however this lengthens cast time by half a second for every second he's in motion. He usually uses this in conjunction with his knives.
Gale Blessings - Wind magic is his second best skill but it is by no means and offensive skill. He can use wind magic to boost his speed and evasion as well as make him lighter, roughly half his weight. Like before, Luke has to trace runewords with energy, signified here by a green aura, before casting this spell. Cast time is five seconds and the wind magic lasts for half a minute before fading away. There is no cool down time, however buffs do not stack nor can Luke do more than five per day at top condition.
Novice Magician - Like all myrs, he can use very any type of elemental spells, even healing spells but these are weak and hardly tuned to use for battle. The most he can do is perhaps make dew on the ground, ice someone's drink or light a pipe. Like the other spells, he still has to trace rune words though cast time is less than a second.

Combat Overview:
Luke is a very unreliable comrade to have in the face of battle. He would easily flee in the face of opposition and leave his comrades to face it alone. After all, as a civilian albeit one with links to the military, Luke has no battle experience. He does not know how to take a hit or give one. However he has trained heavily in the arts of sorcery, mostly as a favorite past time when studies at school grew to simple or dull for him to pay attention to. Needless to say his specialties in wind and lightning magic had developed due to needs on the field of aviation (wind for flight and lightning for energy). When cornered Luke won't give up his pride for his life. Still he would never fight to the death. Once an escape presents itself, Luke won't hesitate to take it.

Strengths – Lightning and Wind Magic. Proficiency with machines.
Weaknesses – Poor physical attack and defense, lack of experience in battles.
