Name: Mirician Strongheart
Titles: Lightning Stag, Messenger of Kord, Champion of Gilderhall, Hero of the Empty Siege, Drake Tamer, Giant Killer, Black Spear
Age: 13
Race: Human
Gender: Female
Class: Telepathic Psion
Deity: Sehanine (and later Bracken, Champion of Kord)

Appearance: Mirician stands at four foot flat, complete with the petite frame, soft peach skin and an overall frail appearance. Her hair is a stark black, seemingly dyed to be blacker, and falls straight around her face hovering just above her shoulders. She usually wears some sort of ribbon in her hair. She rarely carries anything but a mischievous smile on her face and her large brown eyes can deliver an intense unshakable gaze that make her quite unapproachable despite her size and appearance. She wears the traditional garb of Kord over a hooded traveling robe. She often proudly wears a stag helm over her head which, paired with her stare, make her awkward and uncomfortable company. She later receives a scar that trails over her right eye, both the scar and her eye glowing a soft blue in darkness. One of her hands is branded with an arrow, a symbol of her status as a Black Spear.

Personality: Mirician is intelligent for her age, whether this is because of her innate talents as a telepath or not, and is quite aware of this. She plays the role of the innocent and naive child to get what she wants and when that doesn't work, sneaks thoughts into people minds to have them do her bidding. Amongst the locals, Mirician is renowned as a world class brat, incapable of discipline and impossible to stop. Still, Mirician is nothing more than a child. She can still succumb to childish wants such as sweets and can hardly find cute things resistible. She is still easily frightened by "under your bed" or "in your closet" stories, even if she doesn't show it, and flees from close combat without hesitation. Mirician has proven to be quite protective of her brother and though normally ruled by her logic, can become rather impulsive and hot-headed.

History: Two Sides of a Coin- Mirician's birth was, to say the least, unexpected. Her mother first gave birth to Layle who came into the world without much trouble. The boy was bright, smiling, and energetic, seemingly an angel. Midwives all claim the boy arrived with a joyful laugh. And yet not a minute after, the mother gave birth to another child. Mirician. She didn't come laughing as her brother did, but she never cried once upon birth. Mirician's eyes opened the moment she left the womb. At first everyone thanked the gods for the miracle of twins, but soon the expectation that the sister would be just as heavenly as the brother waned and extinguished.

Where Layle was talkative and energetic, Mirician was quiet and subdued. Where Layle wanted to explore and play, Mirician was content with watching others. The two were like complete opposites, as if they split in the womb to create diverging poles. Needless to say, Layle became quite the star in the household and neighborhood. Perhaps it was the lack of attention Mirician was receiving that pushed her to mischief and trickery.

Mirician became aware of her powers as a Psion quite early in her years and soon practiced her craft upon the villagers. Soon enough, her parents were hearing whispers of demons and ghosts. Every time they turned to look for the source of the noise, Mirician was always there, watching. During hide and seek, Mirician would vanish before the seeker's eyes, her lingering giggle being the last thing they hear. The legendary stories of Kord became the legendary tales of Mirician, and every bard who came by swore by their wives that the stories were true. Soon the children she played with began having terrible headaches. Amnesia became commonplace and an unfortunate few fell into hysterics. (Strangely enough, Mirician never used this power on Layle nor resented him for stealing attention that would normally be shared between twins. Perhaps it was because she was swayed by his energy and charisma or she was still bound by the unconditional love between siblings that Mirician held Layle preciously to her heart.)

It wasn't long that her parents, terrified by the strange happenings around town, came to believe that the girl was possessed by some demon and that her birth was unnatural after all. At age ten, they took Mirician to a the Hall of Wrathos, a large temple dedicated to Kord, and, without even a word to the head priest, left the girl on the temple's doorstep before speeding away. Mirician clung on to the hope that her parents would one day return to fetch her, but the long years have long since changed the hope to bitter spite. If she ever wanted to see her parents again, it would only be to reunite with her twin.

Mirician was taken into the Hall of Wrathos as a disciple of Kord, despite her alliances forged with Sehanine. She discarded her family name and took on Strongheart, as if to bolster her own moral. She became friendly with Brynn and Alexandria, the youngest of the acolytes in the temple. Of course, Mirician's mind tricks were still in full storm if not slightly subdued since her abandonment. The priests, knowing that Brynn and Alexandria are soon to leave on a pilgrimage as a coming of age ceremony, sent Mirician along with them under the pretenses that the journey would be good for her. Mirician, seeing this as an opportunity to find her family, wholeheartedly agreed much to the relief of all the clergyman.

Equipment:
Stag Helm- A ridiculously large helmet boasting two arching antlers.
Flaming Orb of Crystalline Terror- The remnants of defiled Kordian artifact taken back from Ethryil. The orb is covered in a small white cloth with a face carefully inked on, giving it the appearance of a tiny ghost floating as Mirician's companion. After meeting with the elders of the Valley Walkers, her orb was enchanted with fire to help stave off the cold, which completes the tiny ghost effect with a flare of blue fire.
Sacrificial Mace- A spiked mace that she obtained after squandering away her money on a gambling endeavor. The mace was gifted to her from a notorious gang lord as a reminder of her debt still owed. It is magicked to return to her person.
Psyweave Cloak- A tall collared cloak gifted to her by the brown dragon Rithras. It has an insignia of a Lightning Stag printed on the back.
